As you might know, I am getting married in December next year. I have been tracking down some old cake stands to use for my desserts at the reception. Aren't they so pretty? A - Australia Post. Not highly recommended at the moment, I must say, but I go to check international postage prices.
B - Birdsnest. This fantastic online shop is full of lovely girly fashion and is where I bought my wallet.
C - Craftopolis. I admit I visit nearly every day to check treasury appearances!
D - Dust Team. I log on to chat in the forums here often! The Down Under Street Team is an awesome group of crafty ladies.
E - EtsyHacks. These have saved me sooo much time whilst using Etsy.
F - Flickr. I love checking in to see the latest shots from my favourite groups - EtsyGardening101, VintageChildren'sBooks and SailorChic are my favourites!
G - GoGet. Since crashing our little car, we have joined a carshare service. It's great!
H - Heart Of Business. I found this blog post about being "lazy" very interesting and helpful when I was in a bit of a rut a little while ago.
I - InnerEarthSoaps. I always keep an eye on Erin as she does fabulous giveaways.
J - Juntei. I was checking out some of her lovely gift tags for a Wishlist Wednesday post.
K - Kelly Neidig. I spotted this awesome artist on Design Sponge and love her landscapes.
L - Lifestyle Food. I have been voting for my favourite restaurants to win the I Love Food Awards!
My Anchors Away Bib is in this issue of a fantastic magazine, Viva La Moda. Page 76. Go and have a look through it - it really is a delectable specimen of gorgeous handmade fashion and craftiness.

Meanwhile I have been a bit quiet because I have an overseas visitor! I like being the person to show my town off to a tourist. You very rarely get out and see the "touristy" stuff in your own city - so it is always a fun adventure to see it through a traveller's eyes. Also it has been an excellent excuse to go out for many delicious meals. I have been spoilt for choice this past week! Next week we plan a trip to the Blue Mountains - always a favourite. Must go and find some nice accommodation...
It has been a while since my last little musings, and this is because I have been On Tour! Doesn't it sound posh and glamorous, and believe me when I say it really isn't - but there are lots of other positive ways to describe it!
Seeing the sights of regional Australia has been something that makes me very aware of who I am in the world. My job tours around to big and small towns in Australia and occasionally overseas, and the things you see make you feel very small. Today we flew over floodlands in Queensland and the landscape was like nothing I had ever seen before, in any country. The way the rivers twisted and blossomed with coloured sand amazed me. Seeing whole fields of sugar cane flattened by the rains tore at my heart. And yet being in the torrential rain in Northern Queensland I felt I was experiencing the real landscape - a proper RAINforest.
Another thing that I have discovered that I think is absolutely great is http://www.improveverywhere.com/. My friend posted their video of "Frozen Grand Central Station" on facebook and I think it is just fantastic. That's really my kind of entertainment. Creative, witty, funny, and done for the pleasure of all, and just for the hell of it. Check out their video:
As far as my NeverEver store goes, I have some Big Ideas coming very soon to my store, which has been a bit dormant while I have been traipsing all over Australia. Think Laptop Sleeves, Doorstops, Tote Bags and more gorgeous baby clothing and some accessories, too. I have been dreaming it all up for a few weeks now, and am ready to go. Stay tuned! I am excited about this "season" of goodies, as it were...
